Medical Weight Loss Programs are science-based, physician-led weight loss programs for individuals who have difficulty losing weight on their own. Often there are underlying medical issues that can make weight loss difficult for certain individuals. A medical weight loss program provides insight and medical supervision to create a customized program that works with a patient’s individual health needs in a safe and supportive environment.
Our medical weight loss program costs vary, depending on the length of the program and your weight loss goals. We’re able to bill your insurance, so Medical Weight Loss at Blue Sky MD Charlotte is very affordable. Typically, patients only need to pay for primary care co-payments. We also have self pay options available that are affordable if insurance won't cover all of the program.
Hormone Replacement Therapy, or HRT, involves supplementing the body's natural hormone production through oral tablets, implants, or injections. Hormone levels naturally decline in both women and men as we age, causing health issues, sluggishness, and intimacy issues. We analyze your unique biomarkers through careful testing in order to create a hormone treatment plan that will restore your hormones to optimal levels.
Costs for HRT are different for each person, and depend on treatment type and schedule. We accept most primary insurance and offer self-pay options that make HRT affordable.
HRT has been shown to help with weight loss in both men and women. Hormone Replacement Therapy can help create lean muscle mass, and increases metabolism. HRT also helps enhance mood and increase energy levels, which can help boost exercise habits.
