We offer the same medication used in those popular brand names in our specially formulated GLP-1 weight loss medication. This semaglutide compound safely helps patients lose weight and avoid setbacks caused by impulsive eating with once-per-week injections.
There are many weight loss medications on the market that claim to “melt away fat” or increase metabolism. However, most of these medications are not FDA-approved and you should be skeptical about any such claims.
Semaglutide is different, however. It has been FDA-approved and widely used for some time.
Semaglutide is a medication that belongs to a class of drugs called GLP-1 receptor agonists. It was originally approved to help manage type 2 diabetes, but more recently, it has been approved as a weight loss medication.
Semaglutide works by mimicking the effects of a hormone called glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1), which is produced in the gut.
GLP-1 helps to regulate appetite and food intake by signaling to the brain to reduce hunger and increase feelings of fullness. By mimicking GLP-1, semaglutide can help to reduce appetite and increase satiety, which can lead to a reduction in calorie intake and ultimately, weight loss.
According to data from trial results, more than 50 percent of trial participants lost 15 percent of their body weight, and anywhere between 30 and 40 percent of participants lost 20 percent of their body weight.
In addition to its effects on appetite and food intake, semaglutide also appears to have other metabolic benefits, such as improving insulin sensitivity and reducing glucose production by the liver. These effects can help to improve blood sugar control and may contribute to semaglutide’s success in helping people lose weight.
It’s important to note that semaglutide should be used in addition to a reduced-calorie diet and exercise. As always, ask your primary care provider before taking any medications.

Common side effects of GLP-1 medications include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and constipation. These side effects are usually mild and improve over time. In rare cases, GLP-1 medications may also cause pancreatitis, which is a serious inflammation of the pancreas.
Another potential concern with GLP-1 medications is their effect on thyroid function. Some studies have suggested that GLP-1 medications may increase the risk of thyroid tumors in animals, although this has not been seen in humans. However, people with a history of thyroid cancer or other thyroid conditions may need to be monitored more closely while taking GLP-1 medications.
